CHIVAS REGAL x MIDNIGHTFACTORY

When we first discussed with CHIVAS with their brand philosophy, "I RISE, WE RISE." I felt an immediate, deep connection. Throughout my own journey as a brand founder, I have been truly touched and lifted up by countless acts of kindness and support, some of which have come from complete strangers. Sharing the profound belief with CHIVAS that success is not just an individual pursuit, but rather a woven tapestry of collective effort, I was driven to capture the emotional essence and passion that fuels this incredible relationship.

CHIVAS and MIDNIGHTFACTORY are united in our unwavering courage to fearlessly pursue what we believe in. Drawing inspiration from their iconic siginifier and infusing it with our own unique interpretations, we have created the embodiment of a shield - our "Dream guardian". This design features the hollowed-out shape of the signifier shield, and steel reinforcement that forms a cross in the middle, symbolizing the strength and support behind every towering skyscrapers. Metaphorically, it represents the notion that success is magnified by the endless, nameless acts of support and love we receive from others. We have adorned this shield with the delicate signifier pattern and MIDNIGHTFACTORY's signature cat-eye cocktail cutout design that pays homage to the aesthetic of "Street Regal", but with a distinct MIDNIGHTFACTORY twist.

Motivated by the powerful concept of "I RISE, WE RISE." we sought to manifest the unseen support and intimate connections that exist between individuals. For this, we chose the technique of skin stamping. On the outer stamp, the words "I RISE" are proudly displayed alongside screw and gear motifs, symbolizing the act of creation and construction. On the inner band, a reversed "WE RISE" stamp leaves a skin mark on the wearers' fingers, serving as a constant reminder of gratitude and the cherished connections we have formed. During times of adversity, this mark also acts as a beacon of hope, reminding us that we are never alone - there are always others standing by our side.

This collaboration between CHIVAS REGAL and MIDNIGHTFACTORY weaves together the spirits of both brands, conveying our shared interpretation and attitude of "I RISE, WE RISE." Through our collaborative designs, we celebrate and rekindle the essence of confidence, strength, and the extraordinary power of collective support.
